Transfers

Black Ankle Munitions is happy to assist in your firearm transfer. We perform transfers by appointment only, no competing with other people on the sales floor regarding your personal business.

We accept shipments from both FFL’s and non-licensees. If you need to provide a copy of our license for your incoming transfer, it can be found here. We do require non-licensees to provide a copy of their driver’s license so that we can accurately record the incoming information in our bound book and keep our ATF compliance inspector happy.

If the FBI NICS denies the transfer, the buyer has two choices:

• Arrange with the seller for the return of the firearm and pay us for return shipping, or
• Consign the firearm with us.

The transfer fee, due at the beginning of the process, covers performing the required NICS background check and the required paperwork (Form 4473)
